Crossroads….we all face them. For some it is a birthday or a mourning. When we celebrate we reflect on who was with us. We enjoy and celebrate for hope in the future. When it is mourning we reflect on the life and good memories. For this month we hold the election and it is the same as both. We will miss the group of great gals who rallied around for all the events. Fortunately, most just shifted to a new spot and they will all be there helping us along. We all want to leave good memories for those who follow. We can look back and smile to remember the good times and sigh for stress and difficult times. Hopefully the smiles make us forget the cranky. May people always remember us with ” they were always smiling and so nice to me” memories.
We have lots of fun and excitement coming this year! Let Linda Kaup, Tracy Day, and Karen Ehrhard know if you want to see something this coming year. Come to vote and enjoy Linda Poole’s memory quilt lecture. Come early to sew and make a block for Quilts of Valor on the 18th at Lee Hill.
