The meeting was called to order by President Mary Ann C. at 7:00 pm.
The previous minutes were accepted, seconded and unanimously approved.
There were no reports given at tonight’s meeting in order to allow time for our guest speaker and the election to follow.
May is the Installation Dinner at 6:00 pm at Lee Hill CC. Sign-up sheet at the counter.
Newsletter: anything for the newsletter is due no later than the 10th of each month.
Our guest speaker, Linda Poole, was introduced and presented a wonderful new program and trunk show on Quilting as Memoir – Photo Quilts. She presented many different ways and examples of how to use photo transfer techniques to add memories to our quilt projects.
The business portion of the meeting continued after the program and refreshments.
Shirley K. along with Elizabeth S-M. presented the Slate of Officers for the 2018 – 2019 guild year election as announced in the March Newsletter. Marty M. motioned to accept the Slate of Officers as presented. The motion was seconded by Mary L. A vote of all of the members present was taken and the new Slate of Officers was approved.
The election was followed by “show & tell”.
Mary Ann C. introduced the guests who were in attendance.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:46 pm.
