It’s a hen party!
We are doing a SCRAPPY chevron quilt (the easy way without piecing triangles) as one of our activities. Our activities are optional but it is fun to join in. The early BIRD gets the worm, so if you want to get started, please start making some rail fences using these measurements.
Cut strips 3″ wide x WOF (width of fabric) from any color fabric you choose (scrappy!)
Cut strips 3″ wide x WOF from the white background fabric.
Cut strips 3″ wide x WOF (width of fabric) from any color DARK print fabric you choose (scrappy!)
Sew each print strip to a solid strip with a 1/4″ seam allowance.
Press toward the print.
Cut into 5 ½ inch squares—you will get out 7 from each strip set.
A lucky chick will win enough blocks to make the chevron quilt!
