Greetings and Salutations!
I hope you are all doing well and that you have been enjoying yourself with some indoor fun..quilting, of course! We have been reading and quilting on the go. I am almost finished with my “Out My Window” challenges and I hope you have had as much fun creating as I am. We finish up our statements and labels at this workday on the 20th. Then we turn them all in to hang at the meeting and head off to the RPA Spring Conference.
The budget committee, tax and Treasury group and nominations committee have all put a lot of thought into their work this month. It is a long arduous process. I hope you all thank them and support their proposals. I commend them for their sweet natured attitudes and diligence. Sometimes decisions aren’t popular but are the best choices. They are true team players.
This month’s nominations are voted on at our April meeting and installed at the May meeting. If anyone would like to join the roster there is still room for you. We have a couple of spots for hospitality and charities that could use a hand. Then there’s always next year to think of. If you are interested in a particular area, the chairs are always excited to mentor the next year chair! Just let Shirley or myself know and we will get you some time with the groups!
Thanks for all of your help with improving our guild and creating excitement for our charities. It has been a lot of fun and definitely a growing season for me. I appreciate all of the friendships and love you have shown. I won’t call you out…you know and I will always cherish you !
As our Holy seasons approach, may you be blessed to reflect and worship in a free nation. Thankful for our blessings and time spent with loved ones.
As the Irish say..may the road rise to meet you and the wind always be at your back.
Sincerely,
Mary Ann
