The Charity Quilt Challenge Explained

Welcome to our ” Out My Window” Charity Challenge. This Spring the Virginia Star Quilt Guild and the Rail Passenger Association (RPA) are working together to create a preview of our under 40-inch quilt challenge. We invite you to join us in the fun of creating for a charity event. In the first part of this year we will be working together to introduce a new art-related show which will benefit the James Hamre Scholarships and the Children’s Miracle Network.  Please join us in contributing to the show. The under 40-inch art pieces will be viewed across the nation and will be specifically shown at four venues. The first reveal will be at the Rail Passenger Association Spring Conference in Washington,  DC the first week of April. The next reveal will be at the Howell Library in  Fredericksburg, Virginia for the entire month of June. This will be followed by the Virginia State Fair beginning in September and finishing up on the West coast at the Fall RPA conference in Sacramento, California in October.

The rules and entry forms will be on our Virginia Star Quilters guild websites on WordPress and Tumblr. The RPA board is excited to join our guild for some fun and prizes as we create our art pieces based on what we see out our train windows! Please join in the fun!

Sincerely, Mary Ann Clifford, President, Virginia Star Quilters Guild
